Helston 3v2 St Blazey.
A late goal in the 85th minute from Mark Goldsworthy earned Helston all three points on a very foggy evening at Kellaway Park.
Helston had took the lead in the first half only for Harry Eaton to equalize minutes later. Helston re took the lead just before half time following a corner which found its way to the far post and tucked home among a number of bodies.
St Blazey equalized with a penalty through Jack Alexander after the referee awarded the penalty for hand ball which looked soft. St Blazey looked the most comfortable and could have gone ahead when a cross was met with a good header but it was straight at the goal keeper. That chance was to prove crucial as Helston scored late on to earn all three points when it could so easily have been none.
St Blazey have to take that performance into Saturday when they face Falmouth Town in the F.A Vase. Kick off 3.00pm.
