Player manager Stuart Morgan has resigned after St Blazey were thrashed 6v1 at Plymstock. After winning their opening league match against Ludgvan 6v0 a disappointing draw at Plymouth Marjons was followed by 4 defeats. The first 3 defeats all seen St Blazey reduced to 10 men with red cards all of their own doing which ultimately cost St Blazey a chance to win those matches and left St Blazey 5th from bottom. A season of so much promise but by mid September facing a up hill task to finish in the top 7 and secure a potential place in the new league set up next season. Stuart Morgan felt he could no longer continue and resigned within an hour of the full time whistle at Plymstock.
