St Blazey 0v2 Sticker

St Blazey suffered a disappointing defeat on Friday night as Sticker scored a goal in each half to take all three points. St Blazey had all the possession in the first half but it was Sticker with the best two chances. A ball through the middle put the Sticker forward through on goal but he was forced wide and put his effort well wide. Sticker did take the lead when a ball rebounded straight back to the Sticker player who calmly placed the ball into the far corner.

Sticker doubled their lead in the second half when a ball from the right split the St Blazey defence and the ball was curled into the far corner with a calm finish. Sticker could have made it three from the penalty spot when a shot was blocked on the line by Lewis Phillips who received a red card, his third of the season. The resulting penalty was smashed over the bar by former St Blazey player Joel Cockings. St Blazey created half chances late on but never really threatened the Sticker goalkeeper.
