Late goals send St Blazey out

Falmouth Town 3v2 St Blazey. Att, 202. Away, 14

Two late goals denied St Blazey a place in the Walter C Parsons League cup final. A goal in the first minute from Landricombe put St Blazey in front, a lead they would keep at the half time interval.

Falmouth equalised with an own goal before Callum McGhee ran at the Falmouth defence and played a ball across goal was was sliced home by a Falmouth defender to put St Blazey back in front. St Blazey rattled the bar and had McGhee through on goal but a good save kept the tie alive. Falmouth were awarded a dubious penalty with nine minutes left to play which was riffled home and then the crushing blow as a defensive mix up left Falmouth the chance to win in the most dramatic of fashion.

Final score, Falmouth 3v2 St Blazey.
