Wadebridge Town 2v2 St Blazey. Att. 51 (15 away)
St Blazey came into this match with both central defenders unavailable. Joe Stone had to work and Lee Whetters was still on holiday. Tribble on loan from Tavistock started up front with Josh Harris returning on the left as he continues to come back from his long injury lay off.
This was St Blazey’s first match since they beat Wadebridge at Blaise Park with two late goals to win 3v2.
St Blazey didnt have long to wait to take the lead. A ball into the box found Tribble who’s header looped up high over the Wadebridge goal keeper and into the net. St Blazey earned a corner which was swung in but a Howe header went over the bar. Josh Harris who was a constant threat down the left ran onto a pass from Johnson. Harris swung in an excellent cross into Tribble who couldn’t turn the ball goal wards. The loose ball was played back to Johnson who took a touch and fired home with a well placed shot low down to the keepers left to put St Blazey 2 up.
