St Blazey made it five matches unbeaten with a full blooded away win at Liskeard. Harry Eaton scored the after just two minutes to put St Blazey in front. Thackery already on a yellow card, took out a Liskeard player in the final minute of the first half and was given another yellow card and out came the red card to go with it leaving St Blazey a man down with the whole second half still to play.
St Blazey changed their formation and sat back to soak up the Liskeard attacks and defended superbly. St Blazey were down to nine men when a sin bin left St Blazey really hanging on for the final 15 minutes. But hold on they did and fully deserved their 3 points.
St Blazey climb two places in the league into mid table.
Next up for St Blazey, a return to Blaise Park on Saturday where high flying Saltash are the visitors. Kick off 3.00pm.
St Blazey 3v2 Hayle A.E.T
St Blazey were made to fight all the way in their first senior cup match of the season. Rickard put St Blazey ahead but Hayle equalized before half time with a free kick to make it 1v1.
St Blazey went behind in the second half and struggled to get back into the match. St Blazey needed a couple good saves from goalkeeper Brodie Cole to keep St Blazey in the match. With time running out, a St Blazey corner was met by a Matt Thackery head to make it 2v2.
Extra time was required and chances were few and far between. A long ball caught the Hayle defense out and McGhee controlled the ball and curled the ball around the advancing goalkeeper to earn St Blazey a place in the 4th round of the Cornwall senior cup.
Axminster Town 2v3 St Blazey. Att,105, Away 25.
St Blazey are into the last 16 of the Walter C Parsons league cup after coming from behind to win. Axminster took the lead in the first half and deserved their half time lead. St Blazey turned the game on its head with a stunning free kick from Callum Mcghee and Willmott smashing home a rebound to put St Blazey in front. Axminster made it 2v2 from the spot after a push in the box was adjudged a foul. Callum Mcghee scored another stunning goal to win the tie and send the St Blazey faithful home happy.
Callum Kenny has signed for St Blazey from Bodmin Town. Callum played and scored for St Blazey during pre season but signed for Bodmin Town. Callum went into the squad for the trip to Axminster Town.
Carl Rickard has signed for St Blazey. Carl signed from St Dennis and went into the squad for the recent mid week fixture against Saltash coming on as a substitute. He then made his full debut last Saturday scoring with a lob over the Helston goalkeeper to put St Blazey in front at half time, although the ball looked as though it didn’t cross the line, but the linesman gave the goal.

Leading goal scorer Jack Alexander has decided to leave St Blazey and join local rivals Bodmin Town.
Jack recently scored 5 goals in one match against Godolphin Atlantic during a 9v1 victory.

St Blazey will host Hayle in the 2nd round of the 2019/20 Cornwall Senior Cup. The match will be played on Saturday 9th November 2019 with a 2:00pm kick off.

St Blazey suffered their 3rd defeat in 8 days despite putting up a brave fight against three sides all hoping to win the title. A narrow 1v2 defeat to Bodmin Town last Saturday followed by a heavy 6v0 defeat on Wednesday against Saltash. Despite taking a 1v0 half time lead on Saturday, Helston scored 3 in the second half to take all 3 points.
